Production Capacity and Products

The targeted production capacity by the rebuilding was 35,000 to 40,000 metric ton per annum. Increasing the production is a gradual process and with a slight modification during 2007 the production capacity was increased to 45,000 metric tons per year. We are planning a modification in the year 2009-2010 to increase the production to 55,000 metric ton per annum to meet the demands from the market. With our initial planning of modification, the original machinery could withstand the increase in speed to boost the production volume, but of course with some modification from time to time.

Products and specifications:

We are producing following paper grades from 100% recycled waste paper and our products are:

1. Fluting Paper : GSM range - 105 to 200 Gram per Sq. M

2. Brown Test Liner: GSM range -  125 to 200 Gram per Sq. M

3. Core Board: GSM range - 200 to 400 Gram per Sq. M

We follow TAPPI Standards for testing our all paper grades; hence our all paper grades meet universally accepted Quality Assurance Standards.

In addition to the above, we produce some tailor made papers for specialty uses as well.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Market

We did not make any special effort to introduce our name, though GPMFZCO was a new venture in the UAE Market. Because the parent company GPMC Kuwait was overburdened with customer demands which we could not met due to demand in excess to Kuwait mill’s production capacity and also due to wide deckle requests. This circumstances still prevails, hence we are able to sell out our major portion of stock at the very same month of its production.

Another prominent fact is that within 2 years from its inception the GPMFZCO has improved the product quality standard as same its parent company GPMC Kuwait.
